After recent stories of Veterans passing away without anyone to attend their funeral, this page allows people to post details of funerals of Veterans so that people local to the funeral can attend and honour them.
Veteran Information
I have replied to say that Ernie Dew was not on our Crew List when the Jupiter sank, I also gave him 2 websites that may help him, can you remember Ernie?

Comment: Hi Ken
My father Ernest (Ernie) George Dew passed away a few years ago and I still have his photographs of his time during the war.
I believe he was on the Jupiter and Prince of Wales and spent some time in Australia.
I was just enquiring as to where I would able to obtain some further details.
Regards
Martin Dew

Comment: I would like to advise your association that Carl Wight Patterson (artificer) a crew member of HMS Jupiter during WW II died in his sleep at home on December 15th, 2013 in Durban, South Africa at age 92. He was born on January 21st, 1921 in Hawick, Scotland. He was on board when it was sunk in 1942 and survived as a Japanese POW.
He is survived by his three sons, Alan, Brian and Stuart. I suspect that hewas one of the last surviving members of the crew.
A message of condolence was sent from the Secretary on behalf of the Association.
