“I am so pleased to be emailing with details of the Association’s Garden Party which this year will be held during the afternoon of Friday 17th May in the Garden of Buckingham Palace. A Senior member of the Royal Family will be in attendance.

The Not Forgotten would like to extend an invitation to 4 of your members with 4 guests to attend (please note guests must be aged 18 or over).

Our Trustees would like you to nominate veterans who have not attended a Garden Party in recent years. If I could receive this return by Wednesday 27th March latest it would be most helpful – many thanks.

IN MEMORIUM

POMA NIGEL WHITELEY CROSSED THE BAR 3rd APRIL 2024. ‘The Doc’ was on board 1976-1978 as the Capt. F7 Senior M.A. his funeral will take place 2nd May at 1pm at Eastbourne Crematorium. The Association Standard will be in attendance and an Association wreath presented to Jax to show our appreciation for all Nigel did for the Jupiter Crew.

HMS JUPITER NMA ATTENDANCE 27th February 2024

Members of the HMS Jupiter Association will be again attending the NMA to show our respects to our past Crew Mates who have suffered due to Service on board Jupiter throughout the years especially Jupiter F85 who was lost in WW2. If attending please meet up at the Chapel at 1050hrs prior to moving to our Remembrance Tree where the Standard will be in attendance and a wreath will be laid.

HMS Jupiter Association Reunion & AGM 2024.

Since the last Reunion I have been attempting to get a Venue for our 20th Anniversary, initially as mentioned at this year’s Reunion Meeting, in Liverpool, then the surrounding area, Blackpool, then Manchester and finally in Stoke on Trent. The problems have been, bad reviews, lack of rooms/price of rooms due to Football weekends, rooms okay but no available Private Dining Room and vice versa. Blackpool hotels a minimum of 3 nights, very high corkage costs and charges for room hire in many quotes! So, trying to be relatively central, (2025 in Middlesbrough) Stoke on Trent came up, the Committee have agreed to the following.

Drink Costs:          NO corkage on drinks for toasts, discount on drinks for the Gala Dinner if you   preorder, a Drinks Order Form will be available nearer the Reunion.
